🚨 Before you start
If you have tried resyncing and your chart is still empty, the data might not be reaching us from your phone. Either your phone's health app does not have it yet, or your phone settings are stopping it
Because our app cannot get around your phone's settings for you, you will need to sort this out on your device. Follow this quick checklist.
1. Make sure your phone has data to share
We cannot see your data if it is not in your phone's built-in health app.
- Open your phone's health app: Apple Health on iPhone, or Health Connect on Android.
- Look for what you are missing: check whether your steps, sleep or weight entries are showing up in there.
❓ Nothing there? Your wearable is not sending its data to your phone yet, so there is nothing for us to read. Here is how to get your wearable data into your phone's health app.
✅ Data is there? Move on to step 2.
2. Check permissions in your phone settings
If your phone's health app does have the data but your charts are still blank, your phone settings are most likely blocking it. Jump straight to the quick fix for your phone:
- 🍏 If you use an iPhone: go straight to the iPhone settings steps
- 🤖 If you use an Android: go straight to the Android settings steps
💡 On iPhone this is worth checking even when everything looks fine in the app. Apple Health does not tell us when a permission has been switched off, so we cannot flag it for you.
Data showing, but the numbers look wrong?
🔄 If your charts have data but the numbers look doubled or way too high, your phone might be counting the same vital from two devices at once. Here is how to fix duplicate or double-counted data.
