What are Patterns?
Patterns are automatically detected insights based on your logged data. The app regularly analyses your logged symptoms to identify trends, such as:
Noticing an improvement or worsening of a symptom (e.g. “Difficulty staying asleep has improved this week”).
Detecting consistent changes over a specific time period.
Highlighting shifts that may be worth your attention.
These insights are designed to help you reflect on changes in your health and spot connections you might not otherwise notice.
How you’ll see Patterns
When a new pattern is detected, you’ll receive a notification on your device.
The notification won’t include specific health details, this is to protect your privacy if you’re in a public setting.
Instead, it will simply let you know that a new pattern is available for you to view in the app.
Viewing a Pattern
Tap the notification to open the app.
You’ll see a Pattern notification at the top of your Home page under the Your Assistant section.
The card includes:
The symptom or area where a change was found.
A short summary describing the trend (for example, “Improvement seen between May 10–20”).
Tap the card to view more detail on your Insights chart.
The chart highlights the period when the change occurred.
You can explore a longer timeframe to see the context behind the trend.
How Patterns work
The system checks your data automatically, on a regular basis, and flags notable changes.
Notifications are limited so you only receive relevant, meaningful updates.
Each pattern appears once, it won’t keep reappearing after you’ve viewed or dismissed it.
Why can't I see any Patterns with my symptoms?
Patterns are detected based on your logged data. If you’ve only recently started tracking, or if your symptom patterns are stable, it might take some time before any changes are found. Keep logging regularly to help the system identify meaningful trends.
