The Lab is Human's early access program. Members try new features before everyone else and tell us what they think. AI Researcher is the first feature in The Lab.
Who is invited
We invite people who have been tracking with Human for a while, so AI Researcher has something to work with. To be invited you need to be completing regular check-ins have at least one condition or treatment tracked, have Smart Tools switched on be on the latest version of the Human app
After this, you may see an invitation on your Home screen or receive an email from us. Joining The Lab makes you eligible for early access to AI Researcher, but we cannot guarantee every member gets every feature straight away.
How to join
- Open the invitation from your Home screen, or use the join link in your email.
- Read the program terms.
- Tap Join.
Joining The Lab means you agree to the program terms. There is no extra consent step for AI Researcher. If Smart Tools is off when you open AI Researcher for the first time, it will ask you to switch it on.
When access starts
Access opens in waves, so it may not be instant. Once you have access, AI Researcher appears as a sparkle icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. There is nothing extra to download or set up.
What we ask of you
The Lab works because members tell us what they think. We ask that you:
- Use the feature and give feedback on findings in the app
- Tell us when something looks wrong at support@human.health
- Are open to an invitation to a short interview with our design team. We reach out at random, and you can always say no.
How to leave
You can leave The Lab at any time. Leaving removes your access to every early access feature, including AI Researcher. It does not delete anything you have tracked.
- Open the Human app.
- Tap your Profile icon in the navigation bar.
- Select General Settings.
- Tap Privacy & Consent.
- Tap Leave next to Get early access to features.
