There are several different ways to log a symptom impact once you are tracking it. This includes being able to add symptom impact scores for historical periods.
1. The 'Home' daily symptom check-in survey:
- Select your 'Ongoing impact' and 'Occasional event' symptoms during the check-in
- Add an impact score or skip
Tip: Use 'Select all' to go through all of your symptoms during check-in and skip the ones with no impact.
2. Using Home: Log one symptom at a time
- All tracked symptoms will be appear under 'Log today'
- Select the symptom and update the Impact score
- Change the date or add notes as needed > Select Save
3. Using the '+' widget: Log one or multiple symptoms at a time
- Select '+' > Symptom
- Symptoms are categorized by type > Select the symptoms that have an impact score you want to log (Tip: You can select as many as you need to)
- Select 'Log' at the bottom of the screen to enter Impact for each selected Symptom
4. Using Insights
- Select Insights and go to the relevant symptom
- Using the chart, select the day you want to log a symptom. It can be today or anytime in the past
- By default, it will be set to "No impact" > Select this and adjust the impact to your experience > Select Save
What does Impact refer to?
Impact is relative to how it affects your daily functioning. Daily functioning is the ability to perform everyday tasks that are necessary for personal care, maintaining health, and participating in daily life. The options you can select from are:
- No Impact
- Slight
- Moderate
- Substantial
- Major
Don’t worry about how you rated symptoms in previous check-ins. There’s no wrong answer, and it’s best not to overthink your responses—Human Health works better that way.
