You can update a symptom type at any time if you’d like to track it differently — either as Ongoing impact (Generally impact most days) or Occasional events (Come and go at specific times).
There are three main ways you can get to the 'Manage Symptoms' page to change how you categorize your symptoms either as an Ongoing Impact or Occasional Event.
Using the Home page
- Go to Home > Select the Settings widget over the 'Log today' area
- The 'Manage Symptoms' page will appear
-
Tap the symptom you want to edit, select Move to and choose which type it is:
Ongoing impact (Generally impact most days) or
Occasional events (Come and go at specific times).
Using your Profile page
Tap your profile icon.
Select to Symptoms to view the 'Manage Symptoms' page
-
Tap the symptom you want to edit, select Move to and choose which type it is:
Ongoing impact (Generally impact most days) or
Occasional events (Come and go at specific times).
Tap Save.
Using the Insights page
- Go to Insights > Select the Filter widget in the top right
- At the bottom select > Manage symptoms to view the 'Manage Symptoms' page
-
Tap the symptom you want to edit, select Move to and choose which type it is:
Ongoing impact (Generally impact most days) or
Occasional events (Come and go at specific times).
Your symptom will now appear in the relevant section of your Daily Symptom Check-in. It will also impact how your insights are calculated for each symptom. View our related article on the difference between symptom types to learn more.
