Every finding links to its sources, so you can read them yourself. Findings are information to discuss with your doctor, not advice to act on.
Where findings come from
AI Researcher only reads sources we trust: medical guidelines, published studies, clinical trial registers and health regulators. These include the NIH, CDC, FDA, NICE, WHO, EMA, Cochrane, PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov.
It does not read forums, social media, shops, Wikipedia, YouTube or AI-written summaries.
For every piece of evidence in a finding, AI Researcher has to show the exact sentence from the source. Our software then checks that the sentence is really there, word for word. If it is not, that evidence is removed. If a finding has no evidence left, you never see it.
How a finding is written
Findings are written by AI, based on the sources below them. The quoted evidence is checked against its source. The summary is not. So always read the sources before you rely on a finding. Each finding also gives you a question to ask your doctor, so you know where to start the conversation.
Discussing a finding with your doctor
Research describes groups of people. It cannot tell you what will happen to you. Your doctor knows your full health history and can tell you what a finding means for you.
When you bring a finding to an appointment:
- Show your doctor the finding and its sources, not just the summary
- Use the question the finding suggests as a starting point
- Do not change any treatment until you have talked it through
Preparing for an appointment
Tap the bookmark on any finding to save it. Your saved findings live in the Saved tab. The Dr Prep tab is where you get ready for an appointment. Add the findings you want to discuss, then write your own notes and questions alongside them, so everything is in one place when you see your doctor.
If a finding looks wrong
AI Researcher can get things wrong. If a finding seems inaccurate or unsafe, see Reporting a finding that seems wrong.
